eBay Seller Tools: Choose by the Job

Estimate a possible sale for free here. Consider paid software when the problem becomes importing actual orders, keeping books, updating listings or managing multiple marketplaces.

Official public pricing and feature pages read October 16, 2026. This is a comparison of published claims, not a hands-on product review.

Match the software to your bottleneck

  • “What did I actually earn?” Start with Seller Ledger for automatic bookkeeping or MyCostPro if you want to work in Excel. Compare the treatment of returns, shipping labels, inventory costs and imported transaction history.
  • “I keep relisting and changing prices on eBay.” Check Flipwise’s eBay automations or MyCostPro’s documented bulk price and quantity edits. Confirm that the particular action you need is supported.
  • “I sell the same inventory in several places.” Compare Vendoo and Flyp for cross-listing. Sale detection, delisting speed and supported channels matter more than the number of marketplaces named in a headline.

If you sell occasionally and can keep an accurate spreadsheet, paying for a tool may add another cost without solving a current problem. None of these subscriptions is required to use Seller Fee Tally.

A tool budget is a real cost

At $10 per month, bookkeeping software costs $0.50 per order if you complete 20 orders. MyCostPro’s $9.99 monthly plan is about $0.50 per order at that same volume. These are simple allocations, not proof of time saved or extra earnings. Add the actual allocated subscription amount to Packaging & other when estimating one order, or keep it as a separate monthly overhead in your books.

Try a cost scenario before subscribing

The example below is $100 item price, $10 buyer shipping and $8.80 tax in Home & Garden, no Store. Fees are $16.56. After $40 item cost, $8 delivery and $1.50 packing, profit is $43.94. Add $0.50 in allocated software overhead to the other-cost field and profit becomes $43.44. The estimate uses official eBay fee rules checked 2026-10-16; it does not import actual orders or replace accounting software.

Questions to answer before paying

Can you export your data if you leave? Are returns, canceled orders and shipping adjustments imported correctly? Does the history available at your billing level cover the period you need? Do your marketplace accounts and country qualify? A free trial or refund guarantee is not proof the tool meets those requirements. Read the current vendor terms; we have not opened trial accounts or connected your seller data.
